The Jaguar XJ220 – A British Supercar Legend
The Jaguar XJ220 has an incredible story.
The original XJ220 concept was unveiled at the 1988 British Motor Show. It was conceived by a group of Jaguar employees who worked on the project in their spare time, with the ambition of creating an extraordinary road car inspired by Jaguar's Group C racing technology.
The concept was dramatically different from the eventual production car. It featured a V12 engine and four-wheel drive, reflecting the project's original racing-inspired ambitions.
